Why People Are Stupid

Picture the following scenario. There are only two, very simple points, which most people should be able to grasp.

  1. I don’t need a car.
  2. I can’t afford a car.

Am I the only person that realises that having established these two points, the obvious common-sense solution is actually not to get a car?
