I bought the album Zenyatta Mondatta by The Police today, which completes my The Police collection. I’ve listened through it once, it doesn’t sound that special yet. There are a few songs I like on it, but it’s going to take a couple of listens-through to get into it properly.
On a final note, I’ve been watching Honey, We’re Killing The Kids on BBC Three. It’s nice to see when things come to a happy ending, but the “predictions for the future” concern me. They show how the kids would look in the best and worst case scenarios. The mother said, on looking at the worst case scenario “they look like drug addicts”. In the best case scenario, the children grew to be much more attractive people. Are the parallels that different? Hmmmm…
